Union Square Hotel

I like the personality of the hotel, the oldness.

The location was ideal for being downtown. The water filling station by the main door. The staff were nice and tried to help. The beds were comfortable.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and made good restaurant recommendations too. Very helpful during a mixed up Turo drop off situation. The water refilling station with different flavor options was so nice due to unseasonably warm weather. The location is safe and the lobby is very nice and clean.

Great location. Classic feel yet modern.

I’m great location

Great position in the town, close to any useful things, from restaurants, bars, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also, the position was perfect to reach the Moscone Center (where GDC takes place). The guests and people at the hotel was very supportive and help me with any needs. For sure, I'll book this hotel again for my next trip to San Francisco.

Beautiful turn of the century hotel, perfect location maybe a 10 minute walk from BART, comfy beds, great shower, great staff.

This hotel has so much character. I love the feel it offers and the original decor that is still there (and well cared for). Location is hard to beat for access to all the best things in San Francisco. All the staff I interacted with were so friendly. I also loved the water machine available for refilling water bottles that offered a variety of options.

Great location though there was a good number of vagrants and psychotics. Building has the early 19th century charm we were looking for.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kensington Park Hotel. It’s a really charming place and I loved all the decor — it has a lot of character and feels really nicely done. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and our room was comfortable. The location is great too. You can walk to so many places around the city, which made getting around really easy. Overall it was a great stay and we’d definitely stay here again.

Great location in the city! The room was big, comfortable, and clean. Coffee and cookies are always available in the morning, and the lounge area is pretty cool. There are a lot of events in the theatre and the vibes are great.

Excellent location right by Union square. So easy to walk to lots of key areas within the city. The hotel was well kept and decorative, keeping the old style well. Complimentary tea and coffee each morning, and a water machine.

Located just off Union Square, the hotel room was surprisingly quiet considering its central location. The cable cars stopped very close to the entrance which was super handy. And the train was a short walk away which was helpful when going to/from the airport. The room and bed were very comfortable. A big size and reasonable price which is always a nice surprise in a big city. The free coffee in the morning and sherry in the afternoon were always a nice treat. Staff and other guests were very friendly!

Location was great. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom and shower was fine - though the sink was curiously low.
